CONGRATS..

First of all, i would like to say congrats to Amierah (my colleague Dr Aida's daughter..) sbb dapat 8A result PMR di umumkan pagi td..x terlambat rasanya auntie ina nk sampaikan tahniah dr warga KKWJ utkmu Amierah..semoga menjadi contoh dan memberi semangat juga perangsang buat adik2mu dirumah serta anak2 kami yg lain di KKWJ..he..he..to Aida..alhamdulillah..tak sia2 segala pengorbanan masa juga tenaga utk melihat anak2mu berjaya..hats off to u my dear..

Resepi chocolate cake

hi..as promised ni dia resepi moist chocolate cake yg i guna utk wat besday cake spt di posting yg lepas..

Resepi Chocolate Cake

bahan:
230 gm allpurpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda bicarbonate
300gm gula castor( u can mix gula castor+brown sugar @ use brown sugar shj tp tambahkan kpd 350-400 gm)
250 gm butter (jenama fern skrg dh tukar nama anchor..for choc cake brand ni yg terbaik tastenya)
50 gm chocolate powder( kalau xde, guna imported coco powder pn xpe tp klu guna local cocoa kena lebih sikit 80-100 gm)
220ml susu segar@air( tp sy suka campur susu n air separuh2)
3 biji telur size AA
esen vanilla
secubit garam(klu guna unsalted butter)

cara:
semua bhn kering di ayak bersama.
pukul butter & gula sampai kembang then tambah telur sebiji demi sebiji dan esen vanilla.
then barulah masukkan tepung yg diayak bersama soda,baking powder & chocolate powder berselang seli dgn susu@air mesti diakhiri dgn campuran tepung.(masa masukkan tepung n susu x perlu pukul lama2 cukup sekadar sebati shj supaya adunan lebih lembap and tidak terlalu gebu,lebih baik guna tangan shj)
kemudian bakar pd suhu 180 c selama 50-60 minit depends on dapur masing2.
bila kek sudah sejuk bolehlah dihias dgn choc.ganache.
resepi ganache chocolate spt dibawah:

300 gm dark chocolate
200ml susu
sedikit butter

susu dan chocolate dimasak secara double boil.
bila sudah cair sebati tutup api dan campurkan butter.
tunggu sejuk sedikit sebelum di hias atas kek

hah.. senang aje kan resepi nya tp mesti guna bhn2 yg berkualiti dan brand spt diatas ye..selamat mencuba.

oh ya dibawah ni i letak gambar chocolate cupcake yg i buat 2 minggu lepas guna respi spt diatas cuma butter tu i ganti dgn corn oil 1 cup..(sbb x smpat beli butter).tp cupcake tu x sempat di aising kan sbb dah kena ngap sampai habis oleh my kids..he..he

Birthday lama..

salam..today rasa agk boring cos tomorrow dh start keje after 1 week of holiday..today bila belek gambar2 lama tu terjumpa lak foto besday sri & adam tahun 2005(both of them born in september).This time baru cuba2 nk wat besday cake sendiri..mmg agak comotlah juga..

What a lazy day..

salam..kami baru pulang lepas tgk midnight citer "bedtime stories" kt cineleisure mutiara damansara..very funny movie..all my kids love it. today is really my lazy day coz arini memang tak masak pun. our lunch today was only sardin fried rice. (sardin lebihan utk sandwic 2 hari lepas..)
anyway, sedap gak bila dah lapar.for dinner pulak kami makan fastfood ajer kt cineleisure before the movie..so that's it for today..lepas ni nak surf facebook lak nak contact kawan2 lak..bye.

Black magic cake..

i juz ran into this weird but attractive black magic cake @ allrecipes.com..resepinya mmg class..
5 star rating. definitely will try the recipe bila ada time nanti..
"Super spooky dark chocolate cake. Suitable for all your black magic get-togethers."

INGREDIENTS

* 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
* 2 cups white sugar
* 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 2 teaspoons baking soda
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 eggs
* 1 cup strong brewed coffee
* 1 cup buttermilk
* 1/2 cup vegetable oil
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round cake pans or one 9x13 inch pan.
2. In large bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the center.
3. Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed. Batter will be thin. Pour into prepared pans.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and finish cooling on a wire rack. Fill and frost as desired.

Butter cake & jackfruit muffin

so okay as promised ni dia gambar butter cake and muffin nangka yg i masak semalam..anyway sorry..the photo not so clearlah..

I will add on the recipe in a while..tapi ist time rasamuffin nangka ni best gak..sgt moist & just enough sweetness..you won't feel boring with the taste..
okay..this is the recipe for butter cake..i got this from a friend who use to take baking orders from the royal family..

BUTTER CAKE
ingredients:
250 mg butter (plz use SCS @ golden churn brand)
250 mg self raising flour
180 mg castor sugar
4 eggs size A @ 6 size B
4 tablespoon sweetened creamer @ 2 tablespoon if use sweetened condensed milk
vanilla essence (@ butter vanila essence)
pinch o salts (no need salt if using salted butter)

method:
pukul butter dan gula hingga kembang.tambah telur satu persatu pukul sebati. add on susu n vanilla.then,tambah tepung sikit2 hanya kaup balik saja coz x mau kembang sangat nanti kek terlalu gebu n kering. bakar adunan in a preheated oven @ 180 c for 45-50 minutes.
lastly bolehlah di hias dgn butter icing.

here is the recipe for butter icing:
250 mg butter (use fern butter @ new name is anchor coz it gives the best taste for butter icing)
80mg shortening
500 mg icing sugar (ikut consistency yg diperlukan)

JACKFRUIT MUFFIN
ingredients:
11/4 cup allpurpose flour
120 mg castor sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup vegetable@corn oil
250mg jackfruit(nangka di cincang halus)
2 tbs fresh milk
11/2 tsp baking powder
pinch o salt
vanilla essence

satukan minyak,gula,susu,garam,vanilla dan pukul kembang.tepung dan baking powder di ayak sekali then masukkan kedalam adunan minyak tadi.hanya kaubalik bagi sebati sahaja then letak dalam muffin cup. bakar @180c for 20-25 minutes.

Holiday mood...

hi..juz got back from family holiday @ afamosa resort malacca yesterday..br nak update my blog today..pheww..what a memorable time in malacca.We rented a bungalow there but were not allowed to cook so we prepare all our dishes at home and need only to reheat our food in microwave. I cook ayam masak merah and fish soup while my sister Seli cook nasi lemak with sambal ikan bilis.Elie, my sister inlaw(bobby's wife) brought nasi himpit(rice cube) with special sambal kacang daging(peanut sauce cooked with meat)..as well as some bingka gula..hmm..yummy!
We really enjoyed ourselves there..and tend to eat most of the time..gosh.I also gain weight a few kilos..alamak need to do some dieting this coming few weeks..
I haven't got time to transfer the photos yet to my computer but promise I will upload some photos there later...
But actually today i manage to bake my favourite butter cake and jackfruit muffin..baru first time try baking the jackfruit muffin..i use apple muffin recipe and only change the green apple with jackfruit..the muffin is still cooking in the oven. tunggu masak a bit later and i will show u the results kay..as for now just enjoying the smell..once dah masak i akan update nanti..bye

SALAM..

Assalamualaikum...hi everyone! After seeing so many of our friends' beautiful cooking blogs,I think it's time for me to just share whats going on in my little home...mostly what i cook or bake in the kitchen..but i wasn't a good cook though, the interest only came in after i got married about 14 years ago. Initially I only know how to cook simple dishes like laukpauk for daily meals.But as time goes by,my interest in cooking increased and start looking for recipes for more special dishes and treats.My main interest now is baking cakes and pastry.I only start baking about 5 years ago.
As always mum's cook is the best so i am kind of stick to how my mum used to cook......and of course what my hubby and my 4 kids love...
Everyone has one food or another they don't like, and I respect being picky for health reasons, but adults who have eating habits like the average 5yr old cause me to be rather disgruntled! You may never find out how good foods can be if you're afraid to try things. In the cooking world, looks aren't everything.
I am sharing recipes that I want to keep safe from my own family favorites as well as recipes that I would like to try and haven't made yet.
I hope you enjoy some of the recipes that I share ..
