Lenser tin berukuran 8 inci x 8 inci x 3 inci dengan mentega, alas dasar tin dengan kertas minyak, lenser juga kertas tadi. Tepung digaul bersama cream of tartar, soda bicarbonate dan ayak. Parut biji pala dan gaul rata. Masukkan buah2an campuran dan badan keping ke dalam tepung, gaul rata. Ini bertujuan mengelakkan buah2an tadi mendak dan tidak berterabur. Ketepikan.</span><br style="background-color: white;" /><span style="background-color: white;">Putar mentega bersama gula halus hingga kembang. Masukkan telur satu persatu sambil terus memutar hingga gebu. Jarak waktu untuk setiap biji telur ialah 1 minit. Putar rata. Pada kelajuan perlahan, masukkan tepung + buah2an campuran tadi, gaul hingga rata dan matikan mixer.</span><br style="background-color: white;" /><span style="background-color: white;">Masak gula pasir tadi dengan api sederhana hingga menjadi karamel, terus mengacau hingga karemal bertukar coklat keemasan. Tuang dalam adunan kek tadi dan on kan mixer, putar rata. Berhati2 ketika memasak dan menuang gula hangus kerana panas dan merbahaya.</span><br style="background-color: white;" /><span style="background-color: white;">Alih adunan ke dalam tin, susun ceri seperti dalam gambar, jika suka.
